Clement Blay launches free hepatitis B screening in Ellembell

Nkroful (W/R),- The Shaip Africa Foundation, a non for profit making organization, has embarked on a campaign and screening of Hepatitis B disease in the Ellembelle District.

The project, dubbed: “Hepatitis Can’t Wait”, formed part of rigorous health care measures to eliminate the deadly disease from the system.

Launching the campaign at Nkroful, Mr Clement Clinton Blay, founder of the foundation, who is also a Pharmacist with Anglogold Ashanti, said 400 people were targeted to be screened free of charge at Nkroful, Teleku-Bokazo, and Esiama.

He said the project would later be moved from one community to the other to continue with free the Hepatitis B free tests to strengthen the health status of people in the District.

Mr Blay said as an indigene of the area, he was so passionate about the health status of the people because health is wealth.

He affirmed his commitment to reach out to people throughout the District to benefit from the free test.
