Christians urged to emulate life of Jesus Christ

Anaji (W/R)- Reverend Prosper Asamoah, Head Pastor of Love Sanctuary Victory Bible Church, has called on Christians to emulate Jesus Christ and live a life full of purpose.

He pointed out that Christians should not forget that Jesus Christ came for a particular purpose; to atone for the sins of mankind.

Reverend Asamoah in a sermon said “without vision, it is impossible to go far in life and so it is essential that every Christian set goals that are tandem with the greater purpose of God”.

Citing the story of Abraham from Genesis 15:5 and 17:4 in the Bible, he said having a vision did not mean “walking on a bed of roses rather, every great vision come with opposition”.

He said there was beauty in hard work and that Christians should work hard and exercise faith and everything would be in place.

Reverend Asamoah called on the congregants to endeavour to live purposefully here on earth so as to fulfil a particular role.
