CAF holds draw for 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon


The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) is currently holding a ceremony for the draw of the Group Stage of the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The delayed tournament is set to be hosted in Cameroon in January 2022 with participation from 24 qualified national teams from various countries.

Today’s draw that has assembled football greats and accomplished officials from all over the continent is being held at Yaounde Conference Centre.

At the end of the ceremony, the 24 qualified teams will be divided into six groups of four teams each.
