Ghana international, Joseph Paintsil earned top rating on Friday evening after his heroics for MKE Ankaragucu in the 2-2 draw against Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig.
The exciting forward and his teammates today played as guests to the matchday 33 opponent at the Vodafone Park.
Although the side was tagged as underdogs, they stepped up their game especially after going 2-0 down to pick a point at the end of the 90 minutes.
On the matchday, two own goals from MKE Ankaragucu defender Ante Kulusic in the 45 and 52nd minute respectively put Besiktas in control before the hour mark.
Unshaken but determined to earn a positive result, the visitors displayed impressive resilience and mounted potent attacks in the remainder of the game that resulted in the award of two penalties.
On both occasions, Ghana’s Joseph Paintsil stepped up to convert to restore parity for his MKE Ankaragucu side.
For his outstanding display of form on the matchday, the forward has been given a rating of 7.9 and deservedly picks the MVP award.
With as many as 27 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig this season, Joseph Paintsil has scored nine goals for MKE Ankaragucu.
