Book: Build a Positive Mindset launched at Saltpond

Saltpond (C/R),-The kind of environment one lives in has a great influence on the mindset. Mrs Eva Gyina-Bediako, Director of the Ghana Education Staff Development Institute, said this at the launch of a 92-page book “Build a Positive Mindset” at Saltpond in the Mfantseman Municipality.

Mrs Eva Gyina-Bediako, Director of the Ghana Education Staff Development Institute, said this at the launch of a 92-page book “Build a Positive Mindset” at Saltpond in the Mfantseman Municipality.

The book shows the practical means to create positive thinking and the process of creating a positive mindset.

Mrs Gyina-Bediako, who is also an expert in Emotional Intelligence and Mr Anthony Agorsor, a passionate Autodidact, interested in things that has the capacity of improving the well-being of humanity, are the authors of the book.

She said the rationale for writing the book was for humanity to embrace the concept of positive thinking to strengthen them to overcome difficulties.

“The mind is a powerful tool that can be used to achieve anything in the world and how we control our minds determines the height of our achievement and sometimes, the situation we find ourselves in, get to throw us off-board, which causes us to engage in negative thinking,” Mrs Gyina-Bediako stated.

She said the methods, ideas and strategies discussed in the book were proven and doable and were carefully spelt out in an easy-to-do format, to help one create a positive mindset, especially when he or she encountered the most challenging situation in life.

“Some people quit acting on their goals when they encounter challenges while others pursue to accomplish more, it is a matter of taking control of your mind to produce the needed thoughts and emotions to act on your task, she indicated.

“Have a copy of the book to read and practice the principles and strategies therein and it helps you to develop a positive mindset,” she added.
