The Black Stars B team of Ghana will next month play an international friendly match with the Uzbekistan national team, information reaching Modernghana Sports has revealed.
The Ghana national team made up of players from the local league have not been involved in any action this month.
Currently coached by Ibrahim Tanko, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has planned a friendly match to give the gaffer a chance to assess his team.
According to sources, an agreement has been reached with the Uzbekistan national team for the friendly meeting to be staged in April.
Currently, some of the players of the Ghana side are in the camp of the Black Stars ahead of the final two matches in the qualifiers to next year’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Once the matches are played, Coach Ibrahim Tanko will make a call-up for his team to prepare for the clash against Uzbekistan.
It is understood that the Ghana FA will by the close of the month provide more information on the friendly match with the Asian side.
