Kwahu Nkwatia (E/R),- Madam Sarah Boateng, Eastern Regional Chief Executive Officer of Bel-Beverages, distributors of Bel-aqua products, has given assorted items worth GHS9,000.
00 to Bless the Children International Home at Nkwatia in the Kwahu East District.
The items were diapers, toilet rolls, assorted drinks, bags of rice and bags of Sachets water.
Presenting the items, Madam Boateng said the donation was in recognition of the importance of children to society, especially during the yuletide.
She commended the Director of the orphanage for his relentless effort at caring for the children and maintaining the home despite the challenges.
She said the gesture formed part of efforts to put smiles on the faces of the children during the Christmas festivity.
Madam Boateng, therefore, advised the caretakers to prioritize the welfare of the children.
Reverend Jeremiah Yeboah, the Director of the orphanage, who received the items on behalf of the home, thanked the CEO for the support to help put smiles on the faces of the children.
He appealed to other Non-Governmental organizations and corporate bodies to support the home.
Bless the Children Orphanage Home International is a private orphanage established in 2000.
