The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bantama in the Ashanti Region, Francis Asenso-Boakye on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, paid a visit to the Asante Kotoko team currently in Dubai.
The Ghana Premier League giants since last Friday have been in the United Arab Emirates where the team is holding a pre-season training camp.
In Dubai the team is training hard and will even use the opportunity to play some friendly matches against top clubs in the region.
Today, the contingent of Kotoko players, technical team members, and officials have been visited by Francis Asenso-Boakye who also doubles the Minister for Works and Housing.
The MP fraternised with the team and also shared some words of encouragement to the team ahead of the start of the 2021/2022 Ghanaian football season.
Asante Kotoko will return to Ghana on October 22, and have set sight on fighting through the new season to ensure they finish the campaign witha trophy.
