Asante Kotoko captain, Emmanuel Gyamfi believe they have a chance to fight for the Ghana Premier League title insisting it is over.
The Porcupine Warriors lost 1-0 to bitter rivals, Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday in matchday 31 games.
The defeat sees Kotoko trail Hearts of Oak by three points on 56 as against Hearts of Oak’s 59 on the league log.
Gyamfi is however confident that with three games to end the 2020/21 season, the tables could turn in any club’s favour.
“The League is like a marathon, it’s not over, there are matches ahead of us which account for nine points,” he said after the game.
“So as I said before, everything is possible because if you lose and we win, we catch up with you.
“So everything is possible, we are down until the end of the league so I believe the title race is still on, we can,” he added.
Asante Kotoko have their last three games against King Faisal at home this weekend, a penultimate encounter against Bechem United away before finishing the season against Elmina Sharks.
