Swansea City star, Andre Ayew has expressed his delight to the massive 2-1 comeback win against Stoke City on Wednesday night to keep their hopes of gaining promotion to the English Premier League alive.
The Swans yesterday traveled to the Bet365 Stadium to take on the matchday 34 opponent of the English Championship determined to bounce back to winning ways following the defeat to Bristol City last weekend.
On the matchday, Andre Ayew converted a late penalty kick to see Swansea City come from behind to beat Stoke City 2-1 at the end of the game.
Taking to his Twitter page to react to the victory, the Ghana international described it as a big win while urging his teammates to keep going.
This season, Andre Ayew has made 31 appearances for Swansea City and now has 11 goals and two assists to his name.
He is integral in manager Steve Cooper’s team and will have a big role to play in the remainder of the season as they push for one of the automatic slots for promotion to the English Premier League.
