2022 WCQ: We will handle the pressure to win against Zimbabwe – Milovan Rajevac

Ghana head coach, Milovan Rajevac has admitted his side will be under pressure to win against Zimbabwe in the reverse fixture of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The Black Stars will be hosted at the Zimbabwe National Stadium in the matchday four fixtures of the qualifiers for the global showpiece.

Despite recording a 3-1 win at the Cape Coast Stadium, the four-time African champions must win the reverse tie to keep their qualification chances alive.

According to the Serbian tactician, they will play under pressure but reckons the players are ready to handle it.

“This is usual in this kind of job, especially in this kind of situation,” the 67-year-old said ahead of the game.

“You have to learn how to handle pressure.
“For us, it is a must to win every match and every next match is the most important, so let’s take one step at a time.”

“We have the confidence, we will learn how to handle the pressure because if you don’t handle it, you cannot succeed in these games.

“So this is something we have to cope with and I think that we will do that successfully.”

The Black Stars are currently second with six points in Group G behind leaders South Africa who are with seven points.

The game at Harare has been scheduled to kick off at 13:00 GMT.
