Veteran Ghana coach, Annor Walker has said he is targeting a top-four finish with Great Olympics this campaign.
The Wonder club kicked off their 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season with 1-11 drawn against returnees, Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday.
Having finished 6th last season, the former Berekum Chelsea gaffer is aiming for a top-four finish.
“What I’m seeing has also given me the confidence. It is the same target that I have put before me that at least I have to be in the top four. But like I always say, if God gives me 1st or 2nd I’ll thank the almighty,” he said as reported by Joy Sports.
“So my target is to be in the top four,” Walker said.
Olympics have bolstered their squad with the signing of forward, Samuel Armah from Inter Allies following the sale of Gladson Awako to city rivals, Hearts of Oak.
Walker is optimistic that their incomings are enough to support their push for the top four.
“For now those I have had have made me happy in a way. I am only looking at my first match then I conclude. I am happy that I have replacements. But what I have seen has also given me the confidence,” Walker said.
