Hearts of Oak keen on strengthening squad with signing of midfielder Salifu Ibrahim
Hearts of Oak are reportedly set to secure the services of highly-rated midfielder Salifu Ibrahim to strengthen its squad for the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
The Ghanaian giants after turning around their season now sit second on the Ghana Premier League standings and just two points behind leaders Karela United.
Aware a little push will enhance their chances of winning the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the season, the club has decided to make acquisitions when the second transfer window of the season opens next month.
According to close sources of Hearts of Oak, the club has made inquiries about the possibility of signing Techiman Eleven Wonders poster boy Ibrahim Salifu.
Modernghana Sports understands that the player fancies the move and will gladly join the Phobians if the club reaches an agreement with his team.
This season, the young attacking midfielder has been a sensation in the Ghana Premier League and was a nominee for the NASCO Player of the Month award for December.
He has as many as four Man of the Match awards this season and has made five-goal contributions to help Eleven Wonders.
